Working smarter is really just another way of saying that you’re being more efficient and effective in your work. #1 – Quit Multitasking

For example, you might do 90 minutes of work before taking a 15 minute break or 120 minutes of work with a 30 minute break in between.

Do the hardest things on your to-do list as early as possible. For instance, if you know that after lunch your energy levels drop dramatically and it’s hard for you to concentrate on anything at all – which is very common among people who work desk jobs- then save menial tasks which require little concentration for this time of day, and save the more complex jobs for a time when you’re feeling more energetic.
